Couwang Privacy Policy
Couwang ("the App") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App processes, where such information is stored, and what choices and rights you have.
Couwang does not provide account registration, login, or Couwang server-based storage. Coupon and membership information entered or selected by the user is stored locally on the user's device and is not transmitted to the developer's server. However, the App may display Google AdMob banner ads, and the Google Mobile Ads SDK may process certain device and usage information for ad delivery, fraud prevention, and advertising measurement.
1. Overview
Couwang helps users manage coupons, gifticons, and membership barcodes on their device and receive expiry reminders.
The App does not directly collect information that identifies you, such as your name, email address, phone number, account credentials, or precise location. Coupon, gifticon, and membership information remains stored on your device. For advertising, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may process advertising identifiers, device information, app interactions, and diagnostic information in accordance with Google's advertising and privacy policies.

Couwang does not collect directly identifying information such as your name, email address, or phone number.

This coupon and membership information is processed only on your device and is not transmitted to the developer or any third party.
2.3 Information Processed by Advertising SDK
The App may display Google AdMob banner ads to support the free service. The Google Mobile Ads SDK may automatically process the following information for ad delivery, advertising measurement, security, and fraud prevention.

Couwang does not provide your coupon or membership content to the advertising SDK.

Couwang's own server does not use user data for advertising, marketing, tracking, profiling, or external analytics. Advertising-related processing is governed by the Google AdMob policies.
4. Retention Period
Couwang does not operate a server and does not retain user data outside the user's device. Locally stored data remains on your device until you delete the relevant coupon, membership, notification history, or uninstall the App.

5. Sharing with Third Parties
Couwang does not sell, share, disclose, or provide your locally stored coupon, gifticon, membership, or image data to third parties.
For displaying ads, the Google AdMob SDK may process device and ad-related information for ad delivery, measurement, security, and fraud prevention.
6. Service Providers and Processors
Couwang does not use third-party processors to process coupon or membership data.
The App uses Google AdMob to display banner ads. Advertising-related information processed by the AdMob SDK is governed by Google's Privacy Policy and Google Mobile Ads SDK policies.

9. International Users, GDPR, CalOPPA, and CCPA
GDPR
For users in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Switzerland, Couwang is designed according to the principles of data minimization, purpose limitation, storage limitation, and transparency. The App does not collect or transmit personal data to the developer. Locally stored data is controlled by the user on the user's own device.
CalOPPA
Couwang does not operate its own cross-site or cross-app tracking system. If personalized advertising or other AdMob features are enabled, Google may process advertising-related identifiers according to its policies. The App does not respond to "Do Not Track" signals because mobile apps do not have a uniform DNT standard.
CCPA/CPRA
Couwang does not sell personal information as defined under California privacy laws. Advertising-related information may be processed by Google AdMob for ad delivery, measurement, security, and fraud prevention. If you have questions about your privacy rights, please contact us.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated due to changes in laws, App functionality, or service policies. If this Privacy Policy is changed, we will notify users through the App, app store listing, website, or another appropriate method.
12. Effective Date
This Privacy Policy is effective as of April 21, 2026.
